Global Health Session
What Biotechnology Brings to the Global Health Puzzle
February 14th
2:00 PM- 3:30 PM
Norse Suite 18th floor
BIO Ventures for Global Health (BVGH) is devoted to breaking down barriers that hinder the development of solutions for developing world diseases. Many people in the global health field are curious, and some a bit skeptical, about what biotech can really contribute to global health that academics and pharma aren't already providing. This session seeks to draw out specific examples of the meaningful ways that biotech companies can address global health and translate these answers into messages easily understood by those outside the community. The panel will also address the benefits that companies stand to gain by venturing into developing world markets.
